El Linze Tinto 2023 is a wine with its own unique personality, crafted by Fede Lucendo, who was named Spain’s Best Winemaker in 2009. The combination of Syrah and Tinto Velasco grapes offers a perfect balance between flavor and body. Its 7-month aging in Radoux oak barrels adds a smooth texture and greater complexity to the palate. This wine, from the Tierra de Castilla region (Quero, Toledo), has had 5 vintages (2007, 2008, 2018, 2021 and 2022) awarded Best Wine in Spain in its category by the Spanish Wine Writers and Journalists Association (AEPEV).

The Tinto Velasco variety comes from certified organic pre-phylloxera vineyards that are over 140 years old.

Total production of the 2023 vintage: 20,555 numbered bottles.

Tasting notes:
On the nose, intense aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherries and raspberries stand out, along with subtle hints of spices, vanilla, and cocoa that add depth. On the palate, it offers a well-balanced body with silky tannins, leading to a long and pleasant finish.

Pairing:
Perfect to enjoy with red meats, stews, and cured sausages. It also pairs well with semi-cured cheeses or for a special occasion.
